Waverton Writes 2012-13

A celebration of local writing

As part of WGRA's tenth Anniversary celebration we have produced an anthology of local writing.

  • The anthology, entitled Waverton Writes was launched at the performances of Village Voices on 12th and 13th April 2013 in Waverton Village Hall.
  • We invited submissions of original, unpublished work from anyone who lives or works in Waverton, Christleton or Rowton.
  • Copies can be obtained (price 5) by emailing Gwen Goodhew at gwen.goodhew@btinternet.com

  • Prizes

The main prize was a one-day writing course with one of the writers in residence at Gladstone's Library in Hawarden. It was won by Lynette Siemers for her story The House.

Thank you to many enthusiasts who supported the publication of the anthology.
